Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The submitted articles are free from plagiarism and other copyright infringements.

Author Guidelines

  1. Manuscripts written for JKBTI include research results in Artificial Intelligence and Information Technology. Manuscripts are written in Indonesian.
  2. JKBTI does not accept manuscripts via email. Manuscripts must be submitted via the JKBTI web system. For those who have never registered, please register first.
  3. The submitted manuscript is a *.doc file.
  4. The length of the manuscript is expected to be at most 10 pages.
  5. Plagiarism is at most 25%.
  6. Manuscript writing must follow the rules provided in the JKBTI template. Please download the JKBTI template at this link.
  7. Writing a manuscript with the following structure sections is recommended: Introduction - Research Method - System Design (optional) - Results and Discussion - Conclusion. There is no need to write down obvious theorems. Just quote them when needed. Evidence or theory that is not yet clear that the author clarifies by developing it can be added after the introduction.
  8. Citations and bibliography used are prioritized for the last 5 years and come from reputable journals. Bibliography of the journal at least 80% of what was written.
  9. When submitting a manuscript, you must submit a statement of publication ethics and a copyright agreement. More detailed publication ethics can be read at this link. The publication ethics statement must be read, adhered to and signed before submission.
  10. Every manuscript in JKBTI will be reviewed by reviewers with a blind review system. All review processes are carried out online via the web system, and the author can monitor the manuscript's progress via the web system.
  11. The time each manuscript begins to be sent until it is declared received by the editor will be different, depending on the review process for each manuscript. The editor can only guarantee an approximate publication time when the author sends a new manuscript.
  12. Print proofing and editing are done by the editor and involve the author. The editor can cancel manuscripts already in printed form if problems are found.
  13. Everything related to the licensing of quoting or the use of computer software for making manuscripts or other matters related to intellectual property rights carried out by the scriptwriters, along with the legal consequences that may arise because of this, is the full responsibility of the scriptwriters.
