Author Guidelines

Manuscripts must be submitted using the Online Submission System on the IURIS NOTITIA: JURNAL ILMU HUKUM portal (https://ojs.ninetyjournal.com/index.php/IURIS) after registering as an Author in the 'Register' section. The author(s) shall use the manuscript template provided by IURIS NOTITIA: JURNAL ILMU HUKUM.

Manuscript Structure

The article should contain the following sections:

  1. Introduction
  2. Methods
  3. Results and Discussion
  4. Conclusions
  5. Acknowledgments (if any) and References

Author names are written sequentially without academic titles, followed by superscript numbers indicating their respective affiliations. Each affiliation includes the department, faculty, institution, city, and country. Email addresses are listed in order, matching each author's superscript number, and separated by commas.

Abstract

Abstract, written in single spacing, font size 10, Times New Roman. The maximum length is 300 words. It must contain at least the following elements: (1) the Objective, (2) the Method, (3) the main Findings/novelty, (4) the Impact (if any), (5) no mention of specific regulations, (6) written in single spacing and in one paragraph.

Keyword

Keywords should, as much as possible, reflect the content of the paper. They are written in lowercase letters except for abbreviations, with a maximum of six words, each separated by a comma.

Introduction

Introduction should comprise approximately 10% of the total word count. It must be written in Times New Roman, font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing. The introduction should be structured as follows:

  1. An explanation of the relevant background that leads to the main issue.
  2. Presentation of valid and accurate data aimed at demonstrating the gap between das sein and das sollen.
  3. A brief literature review (maximum of 10 references) highlighting the differences (state of the art) between existing studies and the present work.
  4. The main research question concerning the issue to be addressed and solved.
  5. If empirical research, a brief explanation of how the method is applied.
  6. The main conclusion or central argument as the answer to the research question.
  7. Supporting arguments (1, 2, 3, 4) for the main conclusion, which will form the basis of the discussion.

Method

This section should be written descriptively and must provide a statement regarding the research methodology. It should, as much as possible, give readers a clear idea of the method employed.

Result

This section is the most important part of your article. Analysis and discussion must be clear and concise. The results should summarize the (scientific) findings and briefly present the research data. Please highlight the differences between your results or findings and previous publications by other researchers.

The discussion aims to answer the research problems and questions, explain the research results, show how the findings can solve the problems, and describe possible further developments.

Conclusion

Conclusions are at the core of the entire paper. Made in paragraph form, and not in list form. The conclusion does not repeat the sentence in the abstract.

Formatting Specifications

Length of Manuscripts

A4 paper size, minimum 6 pages, maximum 15 pages, including tables and drawings.

Table

Numbered sequentially (Table 1, Table 2, etc.). Title centered above the table. Font size 10pt.

Figure

Numbered sequentially (Figure 1, Figure 2, etc.). Caption centered below the image. Font size 10pt.

Page Specifications

Times New Roman, single spacing, justified alignment. A4 size (210 mm x 297 mm). Margin 25 mm all sides.

Citation and References

Citation Style

This journal uses the APA citation style. In-text citations are written using the author's last name and year of publication. A minimum of 10 references is required, taken from primary sources (journals, conferences, books) published within the last 6 years.

References Management Software

We strongly recommend the use of reference/citation manager such as Mendeley or Zotero when writing your article. Open-source reference managers are available to use without charge or with a small cost.
